The ideal candidate will be a registered Physiotherapist with a strong background in MSK physiotherapy, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. They will be responsible for managing a defined area of the service, working closely with other healthcare professionals to provide individualized care to patients.

Main Responsibilities:

  1. Case Management: The Physiotherapist will be responsible for managing a caseload of patients, providing assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of MSK conditions.
  2. Supervision and Education: The Physiotherapist will assist with the supervision and education of physiotherapy students, ensuring they meet the standards set by the degree-level qualification.
  3. Team Collaboration: The Physiotherapist will work closely with other healthcare professionals, including therapy assistants and junior therapy staff, to provide comprehensive care to patients.
  4. Professional Development: The Physiotherapist will be expected to participate in ongoing professional development, including evidence-based audit and research projects, to enhance their clinical practice and contribute to service protocols.

Person Specification:
