About the Role
Tesco's pharmacy team is at the heart of everything we do, and we're looking for a talented Duty Pharmacy Manager to join our team.
As a Duty Pharmacy Manager, you'll have the opportunity to make a real impact on our customers' lives. You'll be responsible for supplying prescriptions, delivering NHS and private services, and providing healthcare advice to customers.
You'll also play an active role in our charity support program, giving advice to people in the community at risk of or living with cancer, heart disease, and diabetes.
Our Duty Pharmacy Managers are supported by wider store teams, including security, stock replenishment, range management, and administration. We offer a high level of working flexibility and control over your work rotas, enabling you to work together with other pharmacists on duty.
You Will Be Responsible For
- Supplying prescriptions and delivering NHS and private services
- Providing healthcare advice to customers
- Playing an active role in our charity support program
- Supporting the Pharmacy Manager to lead, train, and develop colleagues
- Ensuring accurate payment claims for NHS-covered items
You Will Need
- A Pharmacy Degree
- Passion for leading and empowering a team
- Membership of the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC) and willingness to join the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme
- Completion of a DBS check (organised by us)
