CNC Machinist Job Description

Cammach Bryant is seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our team. As a CNC Machinist, you will be responsible for operating Mazatrol and/or Fanuc controlled CNC Millers as part of our CNC cell team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Program, set, and operate CNC Millers to produce high-quality machined parts.
  • Read and interpret drawings, specifications, and sketches to determine dimensions and tolerances of finished work pieces.
  • Work to tight tolerances, checking own work and work of others as required.
  • Ensure accurate and on-time completion of machining requirements, completing Time Records, Workshop Documentation, Quality, and Inspection Records.
  • Identify root causes of quality faults, complete NCRs, and find permanent solutions.
  • Responsible for all daily machine maintenance checks.
  • Provide cover and support in other production areas as required.
Requirements:
  • Extensive experience in CNC machining.
  • Experience with Mazatrol and/or Fanuc controlled CNC Lathes.
  • Experience with other CNC Lathes and Milling Machines desirable.
  • Experience with a variety of materials, including Aluminium and Stainless Steels.
  • Candidates should be able to work in a busy environment, have excellent communication skills, display a flexible approach to work, and be able to work on their own initiative.
