About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Management Accountant to join our Finance team in Eastleigh. Reporting to the Industrial Planning, Controlling & Reporting Manager, you will be responsible for accounting activities associated with the Wrexham Cable and Components Plants.
As a Management Accountant, you will coordinate and produce timely and accurate monthly Management Accounts, providing insights for the internal Management team and external reporting requirements. You will also work closely with Manufacturing & Logistics Managers to identify potential problems and opportunities, and provide detailed evaluations of inventory for the Plants.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and produce timely and accurate monthly Management Accounts
- Provide insights for the internal Management team and external reporting requirements
- Work closely with Manufacturing & Logistics Managers to identify potential problems and opportunities
- Provide detailed evaluations of inventory for the Plants
- Assist in the preparation of Operations and Logistics annual budgets
- Prepare information for audits and liaise with auditors
- Carry out ad-hoc projects for other members of the Finance Management team
Requirements
- Experience in a similar position, preferably in a manufacturing environment
- Qualification as a chartered accountant (CIMA, ACCA)
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet demanding deadlines
- Advanced Excel skills and knowledge of other Microsoft Office products
- Experience of SAP or a similar ERP system
