Electrical Maintenance Technician

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Maintenance Technician to join our team at PA Housing. As an Electrical Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for carrying out high-quality repairs and maintenance work on our housing stock, ensuring the safety and satisfaction of our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out electrical repairs and maintenance work on occupied and unoccupied properties.
  • Work safely and respect customers at all times.
  • Comply with the Health & Safety Policy and report any concerns or dangers to line management.
  • Participate in an out-of-hours standby rota.
  • Work at heights and use tools, machinery, and equipment safely.

Requirements:

  • Driving Licence
  • AM2 National Electrotechnical training
  • C&G Level 3 Certificate in Inspection, Testing and Certification of electrical (2391 or BS2391 or equivalent)
  • City & Guilds 18th Edition (Level 3 award in the requirements for electrical installations BS 7671:2018)
  • Relevant experience post qualification
  • Level 3 Electro technical studies C&G 2330 or 2357 or equivalent

What We Offer:

  • A competitive salary starting at £35,875, increasing to £37,875 upon completion of the AM2 Electrotechnical training.
  • A 4.25% salary increase after completing the probation period.
  • The opportunity to earn while you learn and gain valuable experience in the electrical maintenance industry.
