Position: Senior Manager of Credit Risk Analytics

Location: Flexible working arrangement with office presence required three days a week

Compensation: Competitive salary range of £75,000 - £85,000, plus performance-related bonus and generous holiday allowance

About the Role:

This position is unique as it does not involve direct team management initially, given that it is a newly established role. However, you will receive indirect support from the entire credit risk and management information team across the organization.

The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in delivering impactful contributions through data analysis, insights generation, and effective stakeholder management to facilitate ongoing growth across various teams.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Transform data into actionable insights to enhance or mitigate the credit risk associated with the bank's portfolio.
  • Shift the focus of the insights team from reactive to proactive.
  • Engage confidently with senior stakeholders, addressing challenging questions when necessary.
  • Support and guide the implementation of the Credit Risk Insights strategy using the existing management information suite.
  • Advance the bank's Credit Risk reporting capabilities by identifying opportunities for efficiency, enhancing visualization methods, and improving content quality.

Qualifications:

  • Extensive experience in Retail or Consumer Finance Credit Risk.
  • Proven track record in analytics, particularly within credit, risk, or audit functions, covering the entire credit lifecycle.
  • Solid understanding of the mortgage lending sector.
  • Advanced stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to present complex information in a clear and accessible manner.
