Job Title: Senior Agile Test Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Agile Test Engineer to join our team on a 12-month contract based in London. As a Senior Agile Test Engineer, you will play a key role in driving our priorities to deliver an effective welfare system that enables people to achieve financial independence.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Test Strategy & Planning: Define and implement a comprehensive testing strategy for microservices or APIs, ensuring seamless integration with our continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
  2. Automation: Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Cucumber, collaborating closely with developers, QA engineers, and product managers in an Agile environment.
  3. Collaboration: Work effectively with cross-functional teams to identify issues and drive solutions, leveraging Agile methodologies to deliver high-quality results.

Requirements:

  1. Experience: couple of years of experience in software testing, with a focus on manual testing and test automation.
  2. Java: Proficient in Java, with the ability to write and maintain test automation scripts.
  3. Agile Methodologies: Proven experience working in Agile/Scrum environments, collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
  4. CI/CD: Experience integrating performance tests into CI/CD pipelines, using tools like Jenkins, GitLab, or similar.
