Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a Financial Planning Assistant. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in assisting our Private Client Financial Planners in providing exceptional service to our clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation of financial plans and reports to meet and/or exceed agreed activity targets.
- Develop and maintain technical and market awareness knowledge to provide effective advice to clients.
- Ensure compliance with internal and regulatory standards, including CPD requirements.
- Negotiate and agree contracts with clients, working closely with the Financial Planner and Head of Research.
- Compile and complete new applications and schemes in accordance with internal and regulatory standards.
- Record and maintain information on Intelligent Office to ensure efficient workflow management and record-keeping.
- Filing and storing records and files in accordance with internal standards.
- Develop and maintain report writing and communication skills to enable effective client communications.
- Undertake project-based work as required.
Requirements
- Experience in Financial Services, preferably in a financial planning, research, or technical capacity.
- Diploma qualified, with a strong desire to become Chartered.
- Excellent listening and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Technical competence and ability to apply internal and regulatory standards.
- Professional appearance and adaptability to changing demands and priorities.
- Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office and database management.
- Commitment to ongoing development and ability to prioritize workload.
