Job Summary

We're seeking a highly skilled Configuration Management Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our engineering team, you'll play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and reliability of our configuration management systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Organize and chair Change Control Board (CCB) meetings to ensure timely and accurate updates to 3D CAD models using SOLIDWORKS.
  • Coordinate change management activities impacting configuration items and ensure data quality and reliability in configuration management systems.
  • Define and document CM processes and implement improvements to ensure compliance with the company's Product Lifecycle Process (PLP) and relevant standards.
  • Gather CM requirements from product development, operations, and service teams and maintain configuration data for multiple products from concept to end-of-life.
  • Conduct configuration audits to ensure accuracy of data and provide guidance to teams on CM activities and procedures.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree / HNC in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent).
  • Proficiency in 3D CAD tools, particularly SOLIDWORKS; experience with Product Data Management (PDM) systems (SolidWorks Manage / PDM is advantageous).
  • Familiarity with Microsoft SQL is advantageous.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role, with expertise in configuration and technical data management.
  • Knowledge of Military and ISO standards (e.g., DEF STAN 05-057, ISO is beneficial).
