Teaching Assistant Opportunity in Primary School

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our primary school team in Helston. As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the class teacher in creating a positive learning environment and promoting the academic and personal development of our students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the class teacher in planning and delivering engaging lessons
  • Provide individual and group support to students, focusing on their academic and personal needs
  • Contribute to classroom management and behaviour strategies, promoting a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Participate in extracurricular activities and school events, fostering a sense of community and teamwork

Requirements:

  • A positive attitude and genuine enthusiasm for working with children
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to build rapport with students and staff
  • Flexibility and adaptability to work with different age groups and in various subjects
  • A willingness to learn and develop professionally
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team
