About the Role

NHS Borders is seeking a skilled and experienced Estates Officer to join our team. As an Estates Officer, you will be responsible for the operational maintenance and management of mechanical and electrical engineering services within our property portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the Estates Manager in leading a multi-disciplinary team of directly employed labour and term/specialist contractors.
  • Ensure a safe, effective, and efficient service, with the ability to work with a high degree of autonomy and prioritize competing demands.
  • Develop and maintain excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate clearly and articulately across all levels.
  • Support NHS Borders' values of quality, teamwork, care and compassion, dignity and respect, and openness, honesty and responsibility.
  • Provide emergency on-call estates services and occasional out-of-hours work.

Requirements

  • Full/valid driving licence.
  • Ability to undergo training and attend training courses as required.
