About The Role

M Group Services Limited T/A Morrison Telecom Services is a leading provider of telecommunications infrastructure solutions. We pride ourselves on delivering exceptional service and innovative solutions to our clients. We are now looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Telecommunications Coordinator to join our team in Edwalton, Nottingham.

Role Overview

As a Telecommunications Coordinator, you will be responsible for coordinating and managing telecommunications activities to ensure compliance with all regulatory and client requirements. This is a critical role that requires meticulous attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and schedule telecommunications activities in accordance with the New Roads and Street Works Act (NRSWA).
  • Liaise with local authorities, clients, and internal teams to obtain necessary permits and ensure compliance with all regulations.
  • Maintain accurate records of all telecommunications activities and permits.
  • Monitor and report on the progress of telecommunications projects to ensure timely completion.
  • Handle any issues or disputes that arise during telecommunications activities.
  • Ensure all work is carried out safely and in compliance with health and safety regulations.
Qualifications and Skills
  • Previous experience in a similar role within the telecommunications or utilities industry.
  • Strong knowledge of the New Roads and Street Works Act (NRSWA) and other relevant legislation.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with a range of stakeholders.
  • Proficient in using relevant software and systems for telecommunications coordination.
  • Attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
