We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Nursery Apprenticeship trainee. This is an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a day care nursery while training to become a fully qualified Early Years Educator.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Provide a Safe and Stimulating Environment: Ensure the nursery is a safe, caring, and stimulating environment for children at all times.
  • Support Mealtimes and Changing: Assist with mealtimes and changing, promoting a smooth and efficient routine.
  • Undertake Designated Officer Roles: Take on designated officer roles as directed, working collaboratively with other professionals.
  • Work with Local Professionals: Engage with other professionals in the local area to benefit children and families.
  • Understand and Implement Policies: Familiarize yourself with preschool nursery policies and procedures, including child protection and incident response.
  • Plan Engaging Activities: Plan activities that ensure each child works towards early learning outcomes.
  • Be a Key Person: Develop a key person role, building strong relationships with children and families.
  • Maintain Accurate Records: Ensure records are properly maintained, including daily attendance, accidents, and risk assessments.
