Position Overview
An exceptional opportunity has emerged within the Regulatory Compliance Department for a full-time, Senior Regulatory Compliance Officer. The successful applicant will possess a background in regulatory compliance, demonstrating adaptability, innovation, and a solid grasp of food safety standards, product compliance, fair trading practices, and measurement regulations, along with a comprehensive understanding of enforcement procedures, including the drafting of legal action reports.
As a member of the broader Public Safety Division, you will collaborate with colleagues engaged in various statutory responsibilities, including Neighborhood Enforcement, Private Sector Housing Oversight, Licensing, and Commercial Regulation. There will be opportunities for cross-departmental collaboration as needed.
This position is offered on a fixed-term contract basis, with the potential for permanent placement due to anticipated personnel changes.
Standard working hours are 37 hours per week, aligned with typical business operations.
