About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Electrification Engineer to join our team at Quintessential Design Services Limited. As a CAE Project Specialist, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality CAE analyses and simulations to support the design and development of Propulsion Systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the design and development of Propulsion Systems using CAE processes, including pre and post-processing using various CAE tools.
  • Deliver the durability attribute of Traction Battery assembly and sub-assemblies in line with requirements.
  • Utilize strong technical background and understanding of engineering and mathematical models to deliver results as expected.
  • Develop and optimize solutions considering multi-attributes within defined deadlines and time constraints.
  • Support the continual development of tools and techniques which enhance capability, improve quality, and robustness of Virtual models.
  • Conduct design analysis and development with utmost quality within an agile framework.
Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years of industrial work experience with CAE analysis.
  • Experience of linear static/random response and non-linear solves, ability to generate shell/solid meshes, and apply complex boundary conditions using tools like Hypermesh, Primer, LS Dyna, and Abaqus.
  • Experience in conducting Vibration & Hi-Cycling Fatigue Analysis.
  • Experience in explicit dynamics, gasket sealing, stress, and fatigue analysis (nCode/FEMFAT).
  • Experience and knowledge of optimization techniques (Bead/Shape) using FE optimizers (Tosca).
  • Previous experience of supporting engineering or analytical projects and proposing product modifications to improve design.
  • Working knowledge of CAE methodologies.
