Job Title: Clinical Nutrition Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Nutrition Specialist to join our team at the Isle of Wight NHS Trust. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality nutritional care to our patients.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Support patients with nutritional nursing assessment, enteral feeding, and inpatient parenteral nutrition as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Provide a seamless enteral feeding access service across primary and secondary care, working closely with colleagues in the Hampshire and Isle of Wight Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust.
  • Nurse-led service to inpatient wards for enteral feeding access, planned weekly home enteral nutrition clinic for outpatients, and support to the emergency department and community colleagues to avoid acute admission.
Person Specification:
  • Registered Nurse with current NMC registration.
  • Knowledge of national guidelines and best practice related to nutrition.
