About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Engineer to join our team at Konecranes. As a Project Engineer, you will play a key role in the success of our projects, working closely with the Project Manager and other stakeholders to ensure that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate project activities, resources, and tasks to ensure successful project delivery.
- Work closely with the Project Manager to develop and implement project plans, schedules, and budgets.
- Ensure that all necessary resources are available to support project delivery, including personnel, equipment, and materials.
- Manage vendor relationships and ensure that all necessary documentation is completed and submitted on time.
- Coordinate with the site team to ensure that all necessary resources are available to support project delivery.
- Develop and implement processes and procedures to improve project delivery and reduce costs.
- Monitor and report on project progress, identifying and mitigating any risks or issues that may impact project delivery.
Requirements
- HNC / ONC Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
- Experience in engineering projects, preferably in a similar industry.
- IOSH qualified (preferred).
- Commercial acumen and ability to manage budgets and resources.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to travel and stay overnight as required.
