Warehouse Operative

We operate the UK's only flexible multi-temp, shared customer delivery logistics network. Our team at Bestfood Logistics buys, warehouses, picks, and distributes products to the nation's best-loved food and drink brands every day, providing the best experience to our customers.
Key Responsibilities- Work collaboratively with team members to ensure all corporate goals are consistently achieved and maintained.
- Unload supplier vehicles, perform checks to company standards, and process products using voice technology, taking temperature recordings as necessary.
- Ensure all products received and checked are safely stacked, labelled, and wrapped according to current processes and policies to enable pickers to assemble customer orders without delay.
- Comply with all health and safety policies and procedures, including wearing safety clothing and footwear, adhering to mechanical handling equipment procedures, and maintaining clear fire exits and escape routes.
- Comply with food safety and hygiene legislation and maintain a clean, tidy, and safe warehouse environment at all times.
- Cooperate with other departments and maintain a professional and polite attitude, undertaking any additional duties as required.
- Work to targets and maintain an accurate and methodical approach to tasks.
You must have basic numeracy and literacy skills and be a good team player. Knowledge of food hygiene and experience in a similar role are desirable but not essential. A Reach Truck license is required for this role, and PPT training will be provided.
