Join Our Team as a Children's Social Worker

We are seeking an experienced Children's Social Worker to join our Permanence Team in Liverpool. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with children and families to provide support and guidance, ensuring the best possible outcomes for those in our care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Direct Work with Children: Develop and maintain effective relationships with children and young people, using your excellent communication and interpersonal skills to ensure their voices are heard.
  • Care and Placement Planning: Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement care and placement plans that prioritize long-term stability and improved outcomes for children.
  • Risk Management: Identify and mitigate risks to ensure safe and appropriate placements for children in our care.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with our Family Group Conference Service, family support workers, and Early Help Offer to provide comprehensive support to children and families.
What We Offer:
  • Contract Stability: A minimum initial contract of 3 months to support continuity for the children and young people you work with.
  • Competitive Pay: Up to £42 per hour (Ltd), based on experience.
  • Work-Life Balance: A 35-hour workweek and a hybrid working model with 3 days per week in Liverpool.
  • Supportive Team Environment: Join a welcoming and dedicated team, led by a stable and experienced permanent management group, with regular reflective supervision to support your practice.
