Responsibilities: Demonstrate a solid history of post-apprenticeship experience in project installation work, including electrical assessments. Install and modify electrical systems and components, including first fix containment, second fix installations, power, and lighting. Conduct all necessary testing and inspections to facilitate the completion of certification. Support the Project Manager/Supervisor by providing necessary information for estimates and quotations. Adhere to safety protocols and apply sound engineering and safety practices. Comfortable with installing trays, ladders, conduits, etc., as per construction specifications. Willingness to participate in company-standard internal training workshops and complete all required training. Provide updates on project progress in accordance with the Project Programme and follow RAMS. Comply with all current company procedures. Follow the Quality Management System applicable to all M&E systems. Collaborate as a team member and foster relationships with all clients and potential new clients. Strive for continuous improvement and value for money. Willing to work in secure and sensitive environments. If a vehicle is provided, maintain cleanliness and organization at all times and store materials safely. Keep administration teams informed of any changes in orders when collecting materials from suppliers. Direct colleagues as necessary based on experience to ensure safe and timely completion of tasks. Follow specific SORs and drawings provided. Assist the PM/Supervisor in overseeing subcontractors on-site to ensure safe practices and protect all personnel from unsafe working conditions.Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate will possess the necessary skills and qualifications to excel in this position. Qualified to City & Guilds 2360 Part 1 & 2 or equivalent NVQ & C&G 18th Edition, C&G Inspection & Testing, and C&G minimum requirements. Experience in commercial electrical installations and assessments. Familiarity with the installation of LV distribution systems. Experience with DC/UPS systems is advantageous but not essential. Knowledge of safe working practices and permit-to-work systems. Proven ability to engage and collaborate with internal and external clients and suppliers on complex and interrelated matters. Effective communication skills and a flexible approach to work schedules. First Aid, IPAF, and PASMA training will be provided if needed, but certification is a plus.Benefits
