Job Title: Teaching Assistant - SEN Support

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistant to join our team in a Special Educational Needs (SEN) setting. As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting students with a wide range of abilities and needs.

About the Role:

As a Teaching Assistant, you will be responsible for providing individualized support to students with SEN, including those with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), complex needs, and moderate learning difficulties. You will work closely with teachers and other support staff to develop and implement personalized learning plans, ensuring that students receive the best possible education.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide individualized support to students with SEN, including those with ASD, complex needs, and moderate learning difficulties.
  • Assist teachers in planning and delivering lessons, including preparing materials and resources.
  • Support students with their academic and personal development, including literacy and numeracy skills.
  • Work with other support staff to develop and implement personalized learning plans.
  • Communicate effectively with teachers, parents, and other stakeholders to ensure that students receive the best possible education.
Requirements:

  • Experience working with students with SEN, including those with ASD and complex needs.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with teachers, parents, and other stakeholders.
  • A flexible and adaptable approach, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
