Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Geography Teaching Assistant to join our team. As an aspiring teacher, you will have the opportunity to work closely with pupils and develop your skills in a supportive environment.

The successful candidate will work primarily within KS3, KS4, and KS5 Geography Lessons, as well as other subjects they are strong in. You will provide support to pupils on a 1:1 and group level, both in and out of the classroom.

This is an excellent opportunity to gain experience and develop your skills in a high-achieving school with a strong track record of training teachers internally. You will work closely with leading subject specialists who oversee curriculum development, teacher training, and exam writing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting pupils in Geography lessons
  • Working with pupils on a 1:1 and group level
  • Providing interventions outside of the classroom
  • Working across KS3, KS4, and KS5

Requirements:

  • Geography Graduate with a 1st class or 2:1 degree
  • Strong academics are essential
  • Positive role model who can work with integrity
