Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Nurse Team Leader to join our Children's Emergency Department team. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality, compassionate care to our young patients and their families.

Main Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage a team of nurses and healthcare professionals to provide high-quality care to children and young people.
  • Coordinate and manage patient care, prioritizing tasks and delegating responsibilities as needed.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure the safe and effective delivery of care.
  • Collaborate with other departments and teams to ensure seamless care transitions and effective communication.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and staff satisfaction.
Requirements
  • Registered Children's Nurse (RSCN) or equivalent qualification.
  • Experience in leading and managing teams in a paediatric setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and colleagues.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, manage workload, and delegate responsibilities.
  • Knowledge of paediatric nursing practices, policies, and procedures.
