About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Activities Coordinator to join our team at Riverside. As an Activities Coordinator, you will play a key role in developing and delivering a comprehensive directory of services and opportunities to our customers, ensuring that our support service promotes empowerment and independence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain a directory of services and opportunities for customers, ensuring that it is up-to-date and relevant to their needs.
  • Work with local organizations to develop links and opportunities for individual growth and development.
  • Provide support and advice to the team on opportunities for customers, including education, training, and employment.
  • Develop and deliver an organic programme of group activities across the pathway, taking into account customer strengths and goals.
  • Work with Journey Coaches to support customers with day-to-day tenancy issues, payment of rent, and claiming benefits.
  • Ensure customers have access to relevant external support services.
  • Support Journey Coaches to meet customer outcome targets through key-working, support plans, risk assessments, and other interventions.
  • Ensure opportunities for education, training, and employment are integral to the support service, enabling customers to develop life skills and live independently.
About You

We are looking for someone with:

  • Experience of working with vulnerable people.
  • Experience of delivering structured support in either housing or social care.
  • The ability to work as part of a team to ensure customers with specialist support needs are supported to the highest relevant standards and approaches.
