About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Plant Inspection Assistant to join our team at Eville and Jones. As a key member of our quality control team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the highest standards of food safety and quality in our poultry slaughterhouses and processing plants.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough post-mortem inspections to verify the quality and safety of meat and offal
  • Verify that rejected meat and offal are removed, stored, and disposed of safely and properly
  • Maintain accurate records of inspections and findings
  • Collect and input data to support quality control efforts
Requirements
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to follow health and safety guidelines and protocols
  • Interest in food safety and working in a slaughterhouse environment
  • Commitment to a full-time contract
