About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Finance Administrator to join our team at Play Sports Network. As a key member of our finance team, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to our Financial Manager and contributing to the smooth operation of our financial processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process business expenses and communicate with suppliers
  • Process E Commerce transactions and reconcile supplier statements
  • Set up new suppliers and maintain supplier communications
  • Process purchase invoices and ensure timely payment
  • Raise sales ledger invoices and support credit control
  • Reconcile revenue streams and match costs
  • Support with queries and respond in a timely manner
  • Assist with the month-end process and year-end close
  • Other ad hoc tasks as required
Requirements
  • Working towards or holding a finance qualification (e.g. AAT)
  • Excellent Excel/Google Sheet skills
  • Good communication and collaboration skills
  • Attention to detail and ability to work independently
  • Experience in using accounting systems
  • Broad experience in finance activities
  • Ability to prioritize and time manage
Desirable Skills and Experience
  • Experience working in a media or business services environment
  • Experience in using Sage
  • Understanding of double entry
  • Proactive and supportive attitude
