Rubix, a leading industrial maintenance and distribution network in Europe, is seeking a skilled Site Services Engineer to join their team. As a key member of the Brammer Buck & Hickman organization, you will play a crucial role in optimizing asset performance and ensuring the reliability of industrial equipment.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Conduct thorough inspections and fault analysis on industrial and commercial electromechanical equipment, including rotating equipment, pumps, fans, and electric motors.
  • Dismantle equipment and prepare detailed fault and repair reports.
  • Work independently or as part of a team to achieve project goals.
  • Liaise with subcontractors, such as crane operators and scaffolding specialists, to ensure safe and efficient work practices.
  • Test, rebuild, and commission repaired items to ensure optimal performance.
  • Recommend replacement of faulty equipment or spare parts as needed.
  • Respond to breakdowns and perform routine service work on client sites.
  • Adhere to the company's quality, health and safety, and environmental procedures.

**Essential:**

  • Proven mechanical fitter experience
  • Understanding of mechanical repair techniques and principles

**Desirable:**

  • Knowledge of water process equipment, plants, and industry
  • Understanding of general heavy industry, such as steel, paper, and power generation
