Job Description: Director (Cost Management) - HealthcareWe are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Director of Cost Management to lead our growing healthcare cost management team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing strategic direction, technical expertise, and client leadership to ensure the successful delivery of projects within budget, on time, and to the highest standards.
Responsibilities:- Provide expert cost management advice and guidance to clients throughout all phases of healthcare construction projects.
- Develop and implement comprehensive cost control strategies to ensure projects remain within budget.
- Manage key client relationships, fostering strong partnerships and exceeding expectations.
- Lead and mentor a team of cost management professionals, providing guidance and support to enhance their skills and expertise.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, best practices, and regulatory requirements in the healthcare construction sector.
- Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Professional accreditation from a relevant professional body (e.g., RICS).
- Minimum of 15 years of experience in cost management within the healthcare construction industry.
- Proven track record of successfully managing complex projects and delivering exceptional results.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
