About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Class 2 HGV Driver to join our team at TradeChoice Carpet & Flooring. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for delivering our high-quality flooring products to customers across the UK.

Key Responsibilities
  • Delivery and Logistics
    • Perform multi-drop deliveries in a safe and timely manner
    • Supervise the HGV loading and unloading process
    • Ensure accurate loading and unloading of goods
  • Customer Service
    • Quality check goods-off with customers and obtain their signature
    • Provide excellent customer service and ensure customer satisfaction
  • Vehicle Maintenance
    • Maintain compliance with tachograph law and safety regulations
    • Ensure cleanliness of the HGV and prevent damage
    • Report any accidents immediately and complete daily inspection sheet
  • Additional Responsibilities
    • Provide support in the warehouse as required
    • Complete any other duties as reasonably required
Requirements
  • Driving Experience
    • 1 year of driving experience in the UK
  • Qualifications
    • UK Driving Licence (Category C, Full, Clean)
    • Class 2 HGV Licence
    • Driver CPC
  • Skills and Abilities
    • Excellent driving skills and road etiquette
    • Ability to work to diversions
    • Planning and organisation skills
    • Thorough communication and reliability
    • Awareness of health importance, particularly during autonomous working time
Working Pattern

Monday to Friday, 6am to 3:45pm, with a 60-minute break.
