We are seeking a highly skilled Regulatory Solicitor to join our expanding regulatory department in Manchester. As a Regulatory Solicitor, you will be responsible for handling a broad range of matters, including traditional HSE matters, motor crime, healthcare regulatory, and environmental cases.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review and analyze prosecution evidence, considering implications for clients.
  • Review client evidence and provide summaries for experienced solicitors, including partners.
  • Liaise with the Court, Coroner's Office, CQC, Police, and Health and Safety Executive, as well as other relevant regulators.
  • Instruct experts where necessary and summarize expert evidence.
  • Liaise with insured parties regarding prosecution cases and disclosure requirements.
  • Organize and attend conferences and meetings, drafting notes of discussion and following agreed strategies.
  • Attend interviews under caution.
  • Instruct counsel and attend trials and inquests.
  • Review medical records, post-mortem reports, and other relevant evidence, including CCTV footage.
  • Conduct investigative research into insured parties, analyzing corporate structures, procedures, risk assessment processes, and other relevant information.
  • Perform general legal research.
