About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced sales professional to join our publications commercial team at Akabo Media. As a Commercial Sales Manager for B2B Media, you will be responsible for generating revenue across our publications portfolio, including Logistics Manager Magazine, Robotics and Automation Magazine, and CiTTi Magazine.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Meet annual advertising and sponsorship revenue targets (digital, print, events).
  • Build and manage relationships with new and existing clients.
  • Prospect new business and identify opportunities in target markets.
  • Create tailored marketing solutions and integrated packages (digital ads, event sponsorships).
  • Deliver high-quality proposals and presentations.
  • Attend industry events and stay informed of trends.
  • Negotiate and maximise the potential of all sales transactions.
  • Generate digital, print, and sponsorship revenues for new and existing brands.
  • Generate sponsorships for the event portfolio, including conferences and awards, both within the UK and internationally.
  • Manage members of the publications commercial team.

Requirements:

  • 4+ years of B2B publishing sales experience.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Commercial acumen in digital advertising and event sponsorships.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Interest in the supply chain and logistics sectors.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
