Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Progress Software Developer to join our team in Australia. As a Progress Software Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining software applications using the Progress 4GL and/or Progress OpenEdge platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop software applications using the Progress 4GL and/or Progress OpenEdge platforms.
- Develop and maintain software applications to meet business requirements and ensure high-quality solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize software development projects.
- Develop and implement software solutions to improve business processes and efficiency.
- Provide technical support and guidance to colleagues and stakeholders.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to ensure the company remains competitive.
Requirements
- Strong knowledge of Progress 4GL and/or Progress OpenEdge platforms.
- Experience in software development and maintenance using Agile methodologies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Knowledge of Unix/Linux operating systems and commands.
