Job Title: Qualified Humanities Teacher - History, Geography, REJob Overview:

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Humanities Teacher to join our team at Protocol Education. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging and informative lessons in History, Geography, and Religious Education to students at secondary level.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and deliver high-quality lessons that cater to the diverse needs of students
  • Assess and evaluate student progress, providing constructive feedback to improve learning outcomes
  • Develop and implement effective teaching strategies to meet individual learning needs
  • Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and performance
  • Collaborate with colleagues to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment
  • Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and professional development activities
Requirements:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Degree in a relevant subject (History, Geography, or Religious Education)
  • Knowledge of the UK National Curriculum
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Postgraduate qualification in Education
  • Experience in working with students with special educational needs
Working Conditions:

The role involves working in a school setting, following the academic calendar. Some additional hours may be required for extracurricular activities, parent meetings, and professional development events.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
