About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and career-driven Paralegal to join our busy Private Client team at Pearson Whiffin Recruitment. As a Private Client Paralegal, you will have the opportunity to work with a highly reputable team while being given the framework to develop your own career.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide full legal support to one fee earner
  • Manage diaries and schedules
  • Onboard new clients and conduct Know Your Customer (KYC) checks
  • Prepare letters and emails
  • Use digital dictation software
  • Manage billing and invoicing
  • Initial draft basic wills and Lasting Powers of Attorney (LPAs)
  • Deal with correspondence and ensure all documents are accurately filed in the case management system

Requirements:

  • Commercial experience as a Legal Secretary/Assistant in a Private Client practice
  • Basic understanding and application of Wills and Probate Laws
  • Previous experience with legal software packages and/or case management systems
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
