Job Title: Head of Procurement and Supply Chain Management

Job Summary:

Elevation Recruitment Group is seeking an experienced Head of Procurement and Supply Chain Management to join a well-established Metals Fabrication business based in the UK. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing the purchasing, planning, and materials supply of this £50m+ turnover business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the long-term materials management strategy, including the procurement of raw materials, component parts, equipment, and operating supplies required for production.
  • Responsible for procurement, supplier development, inventory management, sales and operations planning, material master data, supplier quality, reporting, supply chain, and budgeting.
  • Develop and ensure the function is operating in line with the objectives of the business to add value, mitigate supply chain risk, and deliver cost savings.
  • Lead the Supply Chain processes, applying best practice and continuous improvement to provide excellent customer service.
  • Contribute to strategic planning and new product introduction.
  • Experience in managing the various aspects of the Purchasing and Stores functions.
  • Comprehensive understanding of metals buying.
  • Experience in management supply chain or operational role (minimum 5 years), ideally in a similar role/environment.
