About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Neurodevelopmental Practitioner to join our multidisciplinary team at Rotherham Doncaster and South Humber NHS Foundation Trust (RDaSH). As a key member of our Neurodevelopmental Disorder pathways, you will play a vital role in providing consultation, assessment, and support to families, schools, and other professional agencies.

Main Responsibilities
  • Provide expert consultation to families, schools, and other professional agencies on ASD and ADHD queries.
  • Undertake ASD and ADHD assessments, considering differential diagnoses, including Intellectual disability and trauma.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
  • Participate in training and professional development opportunities to enhance specialist knowledge and transferable skills.

Requirements
  • Registered Health or Social Care professional, including nurse, speech and language therapist, social worker, and occupational therapist.
  • Evidence of post-registration qualification/learning in a relevant field.
  • Desirable: Evidence of working with children, young people, and families, as well as experience working within a neurodevelopmental service.
