We are seeking a dedicated Buyer to join our dynamic team, focusing on our sought-after accessories and footwear segment. This role encompasses a diverse range of products including hats, bags, sunglasses, and jewelry, ensuring that our offerings meet the high standards expected by our customers. As a Buyer at PrettyLittleThing, you will play a pivotal role in the daily operations of the accessories division, collaborating closely with the senior buying team and our esteemed Buying Director. Your responsibilities will also include engaging with Design and Merchandising teams, managing budgets, and undertaking international sourcing trips.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Drive product development initiatives as the accessories sector expands.
- Ensure our product offerings align with international growth strategies and understand the nuances of new markets.
- Collaborate with the Senior Leadership team to shape strategic objectives and initiatives.
- Facilitate effective communication with junior and assistant buyers across various departments.
- Monitor inventory levels for individual items.
- Present key insights and updates during trading meetings to senior management.
- Propose innovative ideas to enhance business performance through promotions and markdowns.
- Manage stock levels in accordance with established KPIs and oversee budget allocations.
- Conduct competitor analysis to inform purchasing decisions.
- Participate in buying trips as necessary, both domestically and internationally.
- Collaborate with marketing and eCommerce teams to foster professional relationships and optimize sales strategies.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
The ideal candidate will possess:
- Prior experience as a Buyer or Junior Buyer.
- Proven ability to manage multiple deadlines and prioritize effectively.
- Strong industry insight, with a knack for identifying trends and opportunities for the brand.
- A commitment to mentoring and supporting team members, fostering a collaborative environment.
- A proactive and energetic approach to work, positively influencing team dynamics.
- Experience in guiding and developing junior staff.
- Excellent communication skills, adaptable to various levels of the organization.
- Willingness to travel as business needs arise.
