Zoetis is seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Support Coordinator to join our team in Lincoln, NE. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing processes and maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities- Assist Team Leader in ensuring adherence to production schedules and maintaining compliance with policies and procedures.
- Oversee delegation of tasks and duties to other technicians in the production area.
- Participate in special projects, assist with interviewing new applicants, and present training sessions.
- Track KPIs (Key Production Indicators) and maintain inventory accountability.
- Two years of science degree or equivalent.
- Four years of relevant experience in capping, filling, lyophilization, or related fields.
- Working knowledge of industrial biology, industrial microbiology, or industrial chemistry.
- Working knowledge of computers and mechanical skills.
- Expertise in aseptic technique and knowledge of USDA, European, and GMP requirements.
- Ability to understand instructions in written, oral, and/or diagram formats.
- Ability to deal with problems involving several variables.
- Ability to recognize product quality issues based on company guidelines, policies, and procedures.
- Ability to decide if a process should continue when problems occur until Supervision can respond.
The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the principal duties of this job. Note that personnel protection equipment (PPE) must be utilized while on the job.
- High noise levels; hearing protection as required.
- Frequent exposure to heavy items; ANSI 75 safety shoes required.
- Exposure to cleaning agents/chemicals; PPE as required.
- Exposure to moving mechanical parts; ensure safety shields are always in place.
- Exposure to extreme temperature variations; PPE as required.
