About Callands Care Home:
Callands Care Home is a 30-bed dementia specialist, male only facility, providing high-quality residential and nursing care for the elderly. Our aim is to ensure all our residents feel as comfortable as possible, and our homes promote independence, dignity, and respect through positive risk taking and empowerment.
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Mental Health Nurse to join our team at Callands Care Home. As a Registered Mental Health Nurse, you will be responsible for promoting high standards of nursing care, ensuring all staff are supervised appropriately, and maintaining a smooth and efficient shift.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform all general nursing duties, following CQC and NMC guidelines
- Update care plans and administer safe medication
- Be dependable and flexible to meet the needs of the resident and the home
- Work closely with the care and management team to promote high standards of nursing care
Benefits:

- 4 days accredited training per annum towards pin registration

Requirements:
- Current NMC registration
- Valid pin
- Good knowledge of the most up-to-date clinical practices
- Experience of producing well-developed care plans and detailed risk assessments
- Understanding of regulatory frameworks, including DOLS/MCA and Royal Pharmaceutical guidelines
