Kenton Black Group is actively seeking a CNC Sliding Head Programmer for a reputable Engineering firm located in Wolverhampton.

This organization supplies its products globally across various industries.

Working Hours:
Day Shift: 07:30-16:30 Monday to Friday

Role Overview:
As a CNC Sliding Head Programmer, you will be responsible for:
  • Programming and operating a range of CNC Sliding Head Machines.
  • Producing high-quality components with precision.
  • Loading and unloading parts efficiently.
  • Conducting manual inspections of components using micrometers, verniers, and calipers.

Skill Requirements:
The ideal candidate will possess:
  • Experience in operating, setting, and programming CNC Sliding Head Machines.
  • Familiarity with Star and Citizen Machines, particularly with Fanuc Controls.
  • Ability to read and interpret complex engineering drawings.
  • Experience in machining exotic materials.
  • A minimum of 2 years in a Precision Engineering environment.
  • High attention to detail and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
  • Apprentice training is preferable.
