Marshall Land Systems is seeking skilled Mechanical Assembly Technicians to join their production teams in Cambridge. As an Assembly Technician, you will play a pivotal part in high-profile military projects, dealing with the production of vehicles and containers. Your ideas and contribution will be valued in a business where people really matter.

Key Responsibilities:

* Manufacture, assemble, and build specialist projects using engineering drawings and associated design data to meet business and customer expectations
* Support Production Managers and Team Leaders to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standard
* Work with a variety of materials and equipment to produce high-quality products
* Collaborate with colleagues to achieve production goals and objectives
* Maintain a clean and compliant work area
* Identify and report any equipment or tooling required
* Attend and support production meetings as required

Requirements:

* Mechanical, fitting, or joining experience
* Previous experience in automotive or heavy industry highly desirable
* Understanding and experience in Assembly processes and techniques
* Competent skills gained through training and experience and ability to communicate within team
* Familiar with a workshop environment
* Understanding of Production methods and processes
* Competent understanding and ability to read engineering drawings and associated design data
* Good written and verbal communication skills

Desirable:

* Completed a City and Guilds Apprenticeship or equivalent in Vehicle Body Building, Mechanical Fitting, Manufacturing and Assembly Qualification or comprehensive on the job experience
* Understanding of Appraisals/PDR's
* Semi-Skilled candidates with manufacturing/production experience will be considered
