Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Control Specialist to join our team at Wärtsilä. As a Quality Control Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our products and services, and for implementing quality control processes to meet our high standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct product inspections to ensure compliance with quality standards
  • Raise non-conformances and implement corrective actions
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve quality processes
  • Develop and maintain quality control procedures and documentation
  • Perform dimensional inspections and measurements using precision instruments
  • Communicate effectively with colleagues and management to resolve quality issues
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality and efficiency
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in quality control or a related field
  • Strong knowledge of quality control principles and practices
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and MRP systems
  • Knowledge of SAP and industry-standard computer packages
