Job Title: Personal Assistant - Community Support
We are seeking a reliable and patient Personal Assistant to support a 15-year-old boy with severe autism and sensory conditions. The successful candidate will work closely with our client to develop his social skills, build confidence, and enhance his overall well-being.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide one-to-one support to our client in the community, promoting social interaction and independence.
- Accompany our client to various activities, including bowling, cinema trips, and swimming sessions.
- Assist our client with daily tasks, such as road safety and navigation.
- Develop and maintain a safe and comfortable environment for our client.
Requirements:
- Reliable and consistent individual with a calm and patient demeanor.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Valid driving license and business class insurance.
- Experience working with individuals with autism and sensory conditions.
Working Hours:
Wednesdays in term time (3 hours) and 2 days (6 hours) during school holidays.
Rate of Pay:
£12.00 per hour.
