Job Title: Finance Manager - Financial Accounts

We are seeking a highly skilled Finance Manager - Financial Accounts to join our team at Liberty Global. As a key member of our Financial Accounts team, you will be responsible for managing below-the-operating-profit-line activities, including debt, interest, derivatives, restructuring, and share-based compensation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage below-the-operating-profit-line activities, including debt, interest, derivatives, restructuring, and share-based compensation.
  • Prepare accurate monthly and quarterly results in line with group accounting policy and Internal Control/SOX requirements.
  • Deliver financial information for external reporting requirements.
  • Conduct month-end balance sheet analysis and reporting.
  • Ensure balance sheet governance, integrity, and assurance.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a Finance Manager, Qualified Accountant, or Audit Manager with Financial Accounts experience.
  • Professional Accountancy qualification (ACA; ACCA; CIMA etc.) and either newly qualified or with a degree of post-qualified experience.
  • Coaching and development of less experienced finance and accounting colleagues.
  • Knowledge of US GAAP and IFRS.
  • Experience of working within large complex corporate structures, whilst managing key stakeholder relationships and delivering to deadlines.
  • High attention to detail with the ability to prepare and review timetables, plans and performance metrics accurately, and identify and drive the resolution of errors or issues.
  • Strong Excel skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Financial systems skills (e.g. Oracle, Hyperion/HFM).
