Position Summary: We are seeking a dedicated individual to become a permanent member of our operational team as a Facilities Operative. The ideal candidate must possess a valid driving license and have access to personal transportation.
Work Schedule: This role involves a commitment of 37.5 hours per week, operating Monday through Friday from 08:00 to 16:00.
Compensation: The starting salary for this position is £24,375 per annum.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform general maintenance tasks, including repairs, basic painting, electrical modifications, and plumbing work.
- Conduct routine maintenance on equipment and machinery as part of a planned preventative maintenance (PPM) program.
- Operate forklifts (training will be provided).
- Maintain cleanliness in storage areas and main pathways, utilizing a ride-on sweeper.
- Collect and process cardboard and plastic waste for recycling purposes.
- Assemble and disassemble office furniture as needed.
- Set up and take down racking storage systems.
- Collaborate with team members on various projects and tasks.
- Assist specialized contractors as required.

- Must be physically fit and capable of performing job duties.
- Exhibit a proactive attitude with a positive mindset.
- Demonstrate strong teamwork skills.
- Quick learner with the ability to adapt to new situations.
