Job Title: Warehouse Operations Manager

As a Warehouse Operations Manager at Sainsbury's, you will be responsible for leading a team of warehouse staff to ensure the efficient and effective operation of our Local Fulfilment Centre (LFC). Your primary focus will be on delivering exceptional customer service by upholding legal and budgetary requirements, while maintaining the highest level of customer satisfaction through agreed Service Level Agreements (SLAs).

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead a team of warehouse staff to achieve operational targets and objectives
  • Develop and implement effective processes and procedures to improve efficiency and productivity
  • Ensure accurate and secure stock management, including inventory control and stockroom organisation
  • Manage and coach colleagues to achieve performance targets and drive engagement
  • Collaborate with other colleagues within the LFC to deliver site results and drive a culture of excellence
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in warehouse and retail operations, with a focus on customer service and team leadership
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to listen and respond to customer demands
  • Effective decision-making abilities, with a customer-centric mindset
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on continuous improvement and innovation
