Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire, United Kingdom NHS Full time
Principal Clinical Psychologist in Neuropsychology

This is an exciting opportunity to work in neuropsychological rehabilitation at the Community Head Injury Service (CHIS) based in Aylesbury. CHIS is a county-wide service for patients with traumatic and acquired brain injury with a national reputation for clinical excellence and received an "Outstanding" rating from the Care Quality Commission's most recent review. You will join two clinical neuropsychologists providing input to our two inter-disciplinary community teams - rehabilitation and working out (vocational rehabilitation). We are looking for a qualified clinical psychologist to work in a permanent post at Band 8a, but we would consider a Band 7 with preceptorship to 8a for the right individual who doesn't currently have the necessary experience for an 8a position. We would also very much welcome applications from those interested in part-time hours. You will also provide consultation and teaching to other health professionals and contribute to service development and evaluation.

You will receive professional support and supervision from the Consultant Clinical Neuropsychologist. We strongly support professional development and have very close links with the Oxford Doctoral Course in Clinical Psychology. There are also strong links with the Buckinghamshire Healthcare Trust Community Neurological Rehabilitation Service also based in Aylesbury.
