About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our team in Hertfordshire, working with older adults with mental health and/or organic impairment. This is a part-time role based in Hertford, with opportunities for career progression and professional development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Complete occupation-based assessments and treatments to enable full understanding of each service user's needs.
  • Focus on what matters to service users, using creativity and promoting their occupational identity.
  • Support assistants, physiotherapists, and nursing staff to engage with service users in meaningful ways.
  • Be part of a large OT/PT team working across Hertfordshire, with supervision, support, and line management provided by OTs.
  • Participate in the promotion and teaching of your profession, and be part of a multidisciplinary team that values and respects OT and PT.

Requirements
  • BSc/MSc/PG Dip Occupational Therapy qualification.
  • HCPC registration (or applied for).
