Position: Lead Mechanical Commissioning Engineer

Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure safety protocols are adhered to while performing routine tasks with minimal oversight, understanding the implications of safety in a high-risk setting.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders, including Engineering teams and military representatives, to guarantee that operations are conducted safely and in compliance with regulations.
- Guide and support junior team members, sharing expertise and knowledge.
- Analyze and evaluate technical design documents and schematics, and develop comprehensive Test Documentation.
- Maintain accurate records of all work activities in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Act as the company representative during Factory Acceptance Tests and other testing events, which may involve travel.
- Oversee Testing and Commissioning of mechanical systems onboard.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Proficient understanding of mechanical systems, particularly hydraulic, pressurized air, gas, and water systems.
- Experience in commissioning intricate systems and facilities.
- Familiarity with testing equipment and procedures necessary for specific evaluations.
- Knowledge of Mechanical Flushing, Pressure & Endurance Testing, and system activation processes.
- Ability to draft and issue documentation for isolating ship systems safely.
- HNC in Mechanical Engineering is preferred.
