Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly experienced Medicinal Chemistry Director to join our team at Hyper Recruitment Solutions. As a Medicinal Chemistry Director, you will be responsible for leading our chemistry departments and driving technology development through innovative approaches and scientific knowledge.
Key Responsibilities:
- Apply expert Medicinal Chemistry and DMPK knowledge to lead drug discovery project teams and deliver high-quality compounds to clinical trials.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, manage scientific collaborations, identify clinical candidates, and manage CRO outsourcing activities.
- Develop and implement strategies to drive technology development and improve drug discovery processes.
- Lead and manage a team of chemists and scientists to achieve project goals and objectives.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments, and apply this knowledge to drive innovation and improvement in our drug discovery processes.
Requirements:
- Relevant degree in a Chemistry discipline.
- Proven industry experience working in the Drug Discovery space with a proven Medicinal Chemistry track record.
- Working knowledge and practical experience leading drug discovery project teams, and experience with neuroscience or transmembrane targets would be desirable.
